"I find everyone in the office easy to work with and always happy to assist. Rook Matthews Sayer Forest Hall will always be my first choice when looking to buy, sell or rent" - Abbie, Forest Hall

Going, going… nearly gone! Our latest Auction catalogue is out now!

auction hammer

It’s that time of the month again when our popular auction catalogue is published, jam-packed as ever with fantastic properties be it for investment, residential or commercial use.

Rook Matthews Sayer works in association with Agents Property Auction who manages the auction process of all our auction properties and is supported by a regional network of fifty estate agents.

If you’re looking to sell your property quickly then you may consider selling it at one of our monthly property auctions. If your property doesn’t sell, you have no fees to pay. Our no sale, no fee auction is held once a month.
Why sell at Auction? The main benefit of selling your home at auction is the fixed timescale. If you need to sell quickly then auction could be the answer. Other potential benefits include:

nbsp;

  • It’s fast; on acceptance of an offer, the buyer agrees to a timescale, giving you the peace of mind of a definite exchange date.
  • Control; you set a reserve price and the property can not be sold for a penny below.
  • Security; the successful buyer places a non-returnable financial deposit. If the buyer withdraws from the sale they will forfeit the deposit

When and where?

North East Property Auctions are held once a month. The next auction where these properties will be on sale is on Thursday 30th May at The Marriott Hotel, Gosforth Park. 6.30pm registration – 7pm start

Helping our local Community – Morpeth branch raising funds for Hepscott PRU following attack on animal farm

morpeth branchOur Morpeth branch along with many outraged residents have rallied round to support a children’s learning centre after a sickening attack on its small animal farm.

Five tame ducks, a guinea pig and a goose were brutally killed at the Northumberland Pupil Referral Unit in Hepscott Park after an intruder entered their pen.

The unit provides learning placements for vulnerable children aged seven to 13, who care for the animals themselves.

The youngsters were heartbroken after hearing what had happened to their beloved pets, prompting members of the Morpeth Matters Facebook group to set up a fund-raising page to replace the animals.

Our team spotted this and wanted to pledge their support to help. We will be donating £10 from every home we sell in the next six week period, as well as fundraising at our Morpeth branch.

Tom Dexter, Headteacher, Northumberland Pupil Referral Unit said:

“ The support, comments, feedback and subsequent fund-raising/donations have been truly overwhelming.
“The response has been brilliant. I think people were just outraged by what had happened. Some of these kids have already had a hard life and looking after the animals was part of their education.
“Morpeth Matters comes in for criticism as a place for people to moan, but this shows that when people come together they can achieve something good.”
