Skipton Building Society have launched a 100 per cent mortgage for tenants which will enable them to get onto the property ladder without a deposit.

The mortgage is open to all first-time buyers who currently rent and pass the lender’s affordability criteria, allowing them to borrow up to 100 per cent of the value of the property.

All applicants for this mortgage will need to show a good credit score, plus evidence of a minimum of 12-months good track record rental history.
